Voting Outreach Specialist

Voting Outreach Specialist

Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service, Inc. (MPAS) has an immediate, full-time (37.5 hours a week) Voting Outreach Specialist position located in the Lansing office. 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in public relations, government/political science, communications or related field, with one to four years of related experience.
  • Commitment to civil rights, ability to work with individuals with a variety of disability characteristics and cultural backgrounds, strategic ability and interpersonal skills to promote MPAS’ mission to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by agency policies.
  • Written and computer skills, including Office, to create communications for multiple readership levels.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple priorities and demands.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative in completion of assigned tasks.
  • General understanding of disability advocacy issues.
  • Ability to travel.

Successful completion of a background check will be required.

Annual salary range: 
$36,500 to $39,000 depending on experience.
