Intake Specialist

Intake Specialist

Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service, Inc. (MPAS) has an immediate, full-time (37.5 hours a week) Intake Specialist position located in the Lansing office. 

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in human service.  Two to four years of related human services experience including experience working with disability rights. Ability to obtain relevant information from callers who are seeking assistance in protecting and advocating the legal rights of people with disabilities, identify issues, and forward the caller to the appropriate advocacy team or provide referrals to other agencies or community resources as necessary.

Must demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of systems providing services to people with disabilities. 

Annual salary range: 
$36,500 to $39,000 depending on experience.
